OPEN TO SHORTER TERM LEASES - ANYWHERE FROM 3/4 MONTHS TO ONE YEAR.
We have a 1 Bedroom + Den basement suite available for January 15th or February 1st.
It is modern, large and has the following amenities:

Very centrally located by the Capri centre mall which has groceries and other amenities. 5 min drive/15 min walk to downtown. Near the highway so easily accessible.
Rent is essentially $1600 plus $200 per month which will cover a portion of heat, hot water, AC, electricity,as well as any other utilities. Shared internet is also included in this extra $200. So all in, the total will be $1800 every month inclusive of all listed above.
We are open to your pets - if they are clean, cute, awesome, non-destructive and not loud.
We are generally a very busy couple and are up VERY early on weekdays and usually in bed by 10-11ish on those days. Being as this is an older house and noise travels - this living situation would not work for those that are up late hours, those who are coming and going often at late hours, or those who want to have parties or guests over late on a regular basis. Especially not on weekday evenings.
That being said we have a 4 year old son who thinks he is a dinosaur. He is very cute and energetic and loves to play. There will obviously be noise transfer as a result of that. But we do remind him that there are people downstairs - and one day he will understand :) He generally wakes between 7-8 and bedtime is around 730. Just FYI.
This suite would be best for a single person or a couple as the den would not suffice as a full bedroom. There is obviously no smoking inside and no smoking on the property. Also, no candles or fire hazards in the suite please. I know too many people that have lost their homes to fires!
And I must reiterate... this place is not suitable for anyone that is consistently up late or making a lot of noise OFTEN. It just wont work. Obviously you are still free to have people over and live in your space... I just want to reiterate that the space won't work for someone who is habitually loud in the night times.
