We need to be in Vancouver for a year and are looking to rent our West Kelowna home from summer 2024 until summer 2025. Exact start/end dates are flexible (but no sooner than July 1, 2024), and we'll consider a lease slightly less than 1 year as well. We are coming back, so this would be ideal for a family that's looking for a temporary place to stay while they get settled in the sunny Okanagan!

Upstairs has the master with ensuite, 1 small bedroom, a full bathroom, a large open kitchen/dining/living room, and a good-sized laundry room off the kitchen. There's also a spacious covered deck with lake and mountain views. Minimum 9-foot ceilings, with much higher in the entry and livingroom areas. The kitchen features higher-end stainless appliances and tons of cupboard space, including a very deep pantry with pull-outs. The induction cooktop is great, but it does require compatible cookware, which we can provide if yours doesn't work.

Downstairs is very bright (not a typical "basement") and has a medium-sized bedroom, another full bathroom, a generous and open family/rec area, and another room that qualifies as a 4th bedroom but is currently set up as a small theater. The 75" 4K TV with Dolby Atmos surround system would be staying. 9-foot ceilings throughout this level, and there is a covered patio as well.

The house was fully renovated (down to the studs) in 2020, so everything is pretty new and modern. Please see the photos, and I'm happy to answer any questions.

We have packed our personal things up and would prefer to rent this partially furnished (large furniture). Exactly which items stay or go is up for discussion, depending on what you need. For example, if you need dishes, I'll leave dishes or pack them up as you prefer.

I need a small part of the garage for storage, so either the garage is reserved for owner-use, I can remove the items to off-site storage, or we can come to a shared-use agreement. It is an oversized 2-car garage and would have a small chest freezer as well as a 50A car charger outlet if that's of interest.

The home is "pet friendly" to a degree, but I'll want to know more about your fur baby, please.

Kindly contact me with any details about yourself, your situation, and why you feel this would be a good fit! Given the situation, the rental amount is flexible based on duration, pet situation, garage use, and furnishings. The price shown here is assuming you're staying for a year, don't have use of the garage, major items are staying, and there are no pets.

Utilities are not included. It is a pretty efficient home for its size. If you keep the windows closed and are happy with the temperature staying between 19C and 24C (66-75F), then utils should average under $200/mo.
