CUP 1 DECILITER hallmarked with:6 a,b,c,d,f,h on the side - 4" tall
CUP 1/2 DECILITER hallmarked with: 6 a,b,c,d,f on the side - 3.25" tall
CUP 2) 2 CENTILITER - hallmarked with: 5 a,b,c,d,on the side - 2 1/2" tall
Cup 3) CENTILITER - hallmarked with: 5 a,b,c,d on the side - 2" tall
Coat of Arms / Crest / Wreath on the base of each jug
These measuring cups are from Germany and were made in the late 1800's early 1900's.
These cups were kept at the bar and used to measure the amount of alcohol someone was being served, as a sort of assurance that they weren't getting jipped. The cups were often inspected and stamped with the person's initials.
