The Individualized Funding Resource Centre (IFRC) Society facilitates recruitment for Personal Support Workers (PSW) on behalf of individuals with disabilities. The individual requiring support will be your direct employer and will determine the terms and conditions of employment.
We are currently recruiting a Personal Support Worker to assist an active male client residing in West Kelowna who lives with his service dog. The ideal PSW would be a physically fit female who has a clean driving record and enjoys dogs. Experience is not required, client is willing to train the right person.
Position Shift & Hours:
Morning shifts 8 AM – 2 PM/3 PM Sunday through Wednesday
$19.00 per hour to start
Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
All aspects of personal care, including Ceiling lift transfers, dressing and bladder/bowel care
Accompanying client to appointments and social activities.
Class 5 license and clean drivers record
Willingness to work in an dog-friendly environment and help care for the dog when needed.
