CM Linden Trucking Ltd. has sixteen (16) permanent, full time driving positions.
Anticipated Start Date: As Soon as Possible
Pay rate: $28.85/hr + 5% Safety/Performance Bonus
55 hours per week

Education:
High School Diploma/or Equivalency
Credentials (certificates, licenses. memberships, courses, etc.):
Driver's License Class 1 or A. Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Experience:
2-3 years of Mountain Driving Experience
Languages:
Speak English, Read English, Write English
Type of Trucking and Equipment:
Tractor-trailer
Type of Travel: Long-Haul, Local, Regional, home at the end of each shift
Work Location Information:
Various Locations. Start and end shift in Vernon.
Home at some point each day
Documentation Knowledge:
Logbook, Bill of Lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Accident or incident reports
Communication Equipment Experience:
Citizens band (CB) radio, Cellular phone, Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Specific Skills:
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Loading and unloading of goods,Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Receive and relay information to central dispatcher, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires. lights, brakes. cold storage and other equipment. Perform brake adjustments, Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness
Additional Skills:
2-3 years of Mountain driving expertise
Security and Safety:
Driving record check (abstract)
Own Tools/Equipment:
Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat
Transportation/Travel Information:
Own transportation. Valid driver's class 1 license
Essential Skills:
Reading text, Document use, Numeracy. Writing. Oral communication, Working with others
