Newly minted Canadian citizen here who has barely been in Canada and knows little of the land. Kelowna is the 3rd largest BC city, population 200,000. I'm asking residents whether I should settle here and, if so, why.

About me: I always thought Canada didn't want me, until the 2008 legislative changes to Immigration and Naturalization laws made me a citizen. Born outside Canada to a Canadian mother. I'm middle aged, absurdly overeducated, and quite healthy and fit. I do Physics, software engineering, electronic security systems, and teach martial arts on the side. Pacifist. I prefer to get around by bicycle whenever possible, and went 20 years in USA with no car. I'm divorced with adult children. I'd like to buy property in Canada.
Quirks: I'm mildly autistic. I can't tolerate extended loud engine noise. I like green space and nature. I live simply with few possessions.
Is Kelowna the place for me? If yes, why? If not, where is the right place?
